Firstly, Happy New Year to each of you.
At what point should a person be given the “supersized” designation? Ie, “SSBBM”, “SSBBW”, “Superchub”.
I’ve just reached 400 lbs myself (at 6’1), and don’t yet feel entitled to it. I’ve considered a few indicia:
1. BMI is over 50;
2. My mobility is suffering;
3. I’m unusually fat in my particular IRL community;
4. I’m too fat for most public seating with arms;
5. I can’t buy clothing at a regular store.
Am I falling for “gainer’s fallacy” - comparing myself to extremely big people in the feedist community, and treating anything less than that as average?
